AEW wrestler Kip Sabian has been off TV since April, but it appears that he is getting closer to making a return.
Fightful Select reported today that Sabian is in Chicago for All Out weekend. It’s unclear whether he will appear on Friday’s Rampage or at Sunday’s All Out, but it’s possible that he does appear to be in the corner of his wife, Penelope Ford, for her matches at both shows, or gets his revenge on Miro.
The report noted that they haven’t been told about imminent plans for Sabian as of yet.
Sabian was involved in a beatdown segment with Miro on an episode of Dynamite in April. Miro was seen slamming the door on Sabian’s wrist while backstage, which led to Sabian screaming in pain.
Sabian mentioned on Twitter that ‘surgery was incoming’ and he’s been gone since then. The attack was a way to write him off TV. Sabian has been dealing with injuries since last December.
