Jack Perry Makes Surprise GCW Appearance, Reunites With Marko Stunt

AEW National Champion Jack Perry made a surprise appearance at GCW Maniac on April 4 to rescue longtime ally Marko Stunt, setting up a Jurassic Express reunion match at Joey Janela’s Spring Break during WrestleMania 42 week in Las Vegas.

As KJ Orso attacked Stunt during the GCW event, Perry emerged from the crowd carrying a steel chair and entered the ring to even the odds. The two then launched a joint attack on Orso using the chair, bringing the former Jurassic Express partners back together in a memorable fashion.

Shortly after the segment, it was officially announced that Perry and Stunt will team up to face KJ Orso and Sam Stackhouse at Joey Janela’s Spring Break, taking place Friday April 17 at Horseshoe Las Vegas, Nevada. The event falls during the week of WrestleMania 42, making it one of several major independent wrestling shows converging on Las Vegas.

GCW Spring Break features several other notable matches and moments. Joey Janela himself is scheduled to compete against Brodie Lee Jr., and ECW legend Sandman has been announced for what is billed as his final wrestling match. AEW’s Rascalz have also been announced for the card.

Perry and Stunt originally teamed as part of the Jurassic Express stable in AEW alongside Luchasaurus, where they were a fan favorite act known for the contrast between Stunt’s small stature and the power of his larger partners. Perry has since evolved as a performer, currently holding the AEW National Championship.
