Following the conclusion of the chaotic four-way ladder match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at All Out, “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry made his return to All Elite Wrestling for the first time in over a year. The segment culminated in the reformation of his popular tag team with Luchasaurus, Jurassic Express.
After the champions, Brodido (Brody King and Bandido), retained their titles, Perry appeared in the ring and confronted The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson). Perry initiated a physical altercation with both members of The Bucks. Rocky Romero briefly entered the ring and was dispatched by Perry with a DDT, but the distraction allowed The Young Bucks to regain control with a superkick.
As The Young Bucks prepared to deliver a BTE Trigger to Perry, he smiled, and the arena lights went out. A pre-taped video package then played on the arena screens, showing Perry in a desert digging up a coffin, which he then hooked to his truck. The video continued, showing him nursing an individual back to health.
At the conclusion of the vignette, the individual was revealed to be Luchasaurus. The arena lights came back on to show Luchasaurus standing in the ring behind The Young Bucks. He then attacked both Matthew and Nicholas Jackson, clearing them from the ring. Perry pointed to the “Killswitch” championship belt that Luchasaurus was wearing, which Luchasaurus then took off and threw into the crowd.
The segment concluded with Perry and Luchasaurus embracing in the center of the ring as their original theme music, “Tarzan Boy,” played throughout the Scotiabank Arena. The reunited duo left together, signaling the official return of the tag team known as Jurassic Express.
This appearance marked Perry’s first time in an AEW arena since the All In event in London in August 2023. At the time of his absence, Perry was performing as a heel character following a feud with Hook over the FTW Championship. His return at All Out appears to be a shift back to a babyface role.
The reunion is a significant development in a long-term storyline. Jurassic Express were former AEW World Tag Team Champions before their breakup was orchestrated by Christian Cage, who manipulated Luchasaurus into turning against Perry.
