Jay Lethal: Whenever Paul Walter Hauser Wants to Try and Get His Golden Globe Back, Jeff and I Will Let Him Come

In an exclusive for WrestlingNews.co, Steve Fall interviewed Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal ahead of their AEW World Tag Team Title match against the champions FTR (Dax Hardwood and Cash Wheeler). Scroll down to watch the entire interview.

Jeff Jarrett talking about AEW being in demand globally:

“The demand is incredible. Before I stepped foot full time into the AEW circle, I did as much due diligence as possible as I could and there is an incredible (demand). Obviously domestically, I drilled into that coast to coast. I call them the C and D markets that Dynamite or pay-per-view can go to, but there’s a demand globally, Australia all through Europe, the German promoters wear me out. Australian folks, they want us there, so there’s a real demand. India is the untapped, biggest emerging market in the world.

Jay Lethal on being a part of the AEW Wembley show:

“This one was gonna have a special place in my heart because for me personally, I look at someone like Jeff Jarrett who used to be my boss, and now coincidentally is my tag team partner. In his company, I held gold and now together, we plan on having some gold and we will leave Las Vegas with that gold. So to me, it’s like this whole thing where everything comes full circle. It’s like, back in space. It’s unreal, unbelievable if you want to say it like that. So yeah, to me, this one’s gonna hold a special place in my heart forever.”

Jeff Jarrett added, “I’ve been around the game and I’ll just kind of touch this weekend. It’s super special for me, my wife, Sonjay, Jay, and then my new, very good friend Satnam, truly a one in a billion. It’s a special night, special moment, special weekend.”

Jay Lethal on taking Paul Walter Hauser’s Golden Globe:

“He kind of disrespected us a little bit, which is why we took his Golden Globe. Unfortunately, he didn’t quite stand up for himself like Jeff and I thought he would. He actually let us keep this Golden Globe, he didn’t let us, but we kept the Golden Globes and we thought he would fight back a little bit more than he did, but he realized that he was in the wrong. So whenever he wants to try and get his Golden Globe back, Jeff and I will let him come.”
