Jeff Hardy was the guest this week on "AEW Unrestricted" where he talked about his huge spot against The Butcher and The Blade, what it was like first meeting Tony Khan, and his thoughts on how Tony runs AEW television.
Jeff Hardy talking about jumping off the ledge on to The Butcher and The Blade:
"It is wild and crazy. But man when I did that, I asked for a 12 footer (ladder)," Hardy said.
"I was so scared to get them on top of that thing (the ledge). I was so afraid. But the fear is part of the fun. Once I got up there, I was okay."
On meeting Tony Khan:
"I met Tony Khan at Ric Flair's anniversary party with Wendy," Jeff explained.
"He said, 'I own this company called AEW.' I was like, 'What? You're that guy?' We had such a good time over that weekend. It was amazing. I love Ric Flair like crazy."
"Because of Ric, I met Tony early on, but before the 90 days, we didn't talk at all.”
His thoughts on how Tony Khan runs the AEW TV shows:
"The coolest thing to me is there's no rehearsals. WWE is crazy with rehearsals. Yeah, that's the biggest thing for sure.”
