Jeff Hardy may be on his way out of All Elite Wrestling should he want to leave.
Jeff’s brother, Matt Hardy, left AEW last month when his deal expired. However, he couldn’t sign with anyone because it was extended a few weeks past WrestleMania weekend. He made his return to TNA Wrestling on Saturday night.
It was originally reported when Jeff joined AEW that it was done where the brothers’ deals matched up together. Years later, the two deals are not far off from one another.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that while it was originally believed that AEW had extended Jeff’s deal into next year because of time missed, that wasn’t the case as of March. Instead, it’s up in the Spring.
It should be noted that AEW could extend the time on the deal at any time because of time missed in the past. Jeff hasn’t wrestled since he was injured in a No DQ Match with Sammy Guevara on Valentine’s Day.
