AEW’s Jeff Jarrett Would Love To Reunite With Howard Stern Wack Packer Beetlejuice

It is one of the most memorable and bizarre moments from the final days of WCW: Jeff Jarrett smashing a guitar over the head of Howard Stern Wack Packer, Beetlejuice. On the debut episode of The Velvet Ropes by WrestlingNews.co, Jarrett was asked by host SoCal Val about the incident and if he’d ever spoken to Beetlejuice since, leading him to reflect on the legacy of that single guitar shot.

The Most Memorable Guitar Shot

Jarrett admitted that out of all the people he has hit with a guitar—from wrestling legends like Ric Flair and Sting to other celebrities—the one that has had the most staying power with fans is the one he delivered to Beetlejuice.

“I’ve done a lot of guitar shots through the years. And you know, whether it was Sting or Flair or we’ll call it any legend, Hall of Famer, professional wrestler, the one that gets talked about the most… and there are a few that rank right up there that always get brought up. Fabulous Moolah is one. Gary Coleman is another. Literally nothing outranks my man Beetle,” Jarrett stated.

A Hopeful Reunion

When asked if he had spoken to the Wack Packer since their WCW encounter, Jarrett revealed that he had not, but he wishes he had. He expressed a desire to reconnect with him and praised his legendary status.

“No, I haven’t. And, man, oh man, I wish I had,” Jarrett confessed. “I’d love to do a photo op with him at some conventions. I think that would be a lot of fun for fans… I wish him the best, and I’d love to chat with him one day.”

Beetlejuice (real name Lester Green) remains a beloved pop culture icon due to his decades of memorable appearances on The Howard Stern Show. His unique personality and catchphrases have made him one of the most famous and cherished members of Stern’s “Wack Pack.”
