Jim Ross Announces Return to AEW Commentary at All In Texas

Legendary announcer Jim Ross has officially confirmed that he will be making his return to the AEW commentary desk for the upcoming All In pay-per-view in Texas. Speaking on the latest episode of his Grilling JR podcast, Ross announced his plans to be at the historic event.

The announcement came after Ross explained he had to cancel a previously scheduled appearance at the Fanboy Expo in Knoxville due to a scheduling conflict. When co-host Conrad Thompson asked if this meant he would be at All In, Ross was definitive.

“Oh, absolutely, absolutely,” Ross confirmed. “I just got the dates, you know, screwed up. That’s my fault… But nonetheless, yeah, I’ll be there. I want to come in, and I want to fly in on Thursday and do our business on Friday, and then I’ll be at the pay-per-view on Saturday.”

In addition to his return at All In on Saturday, July 12, Ross will also be appearing at the Starrcast wrestling convention on Friday, July 11. He revealed details of a unique photo opportunity for fans at the convention. “AEW is bringing one of their announce desks to Starrcast, so fans will be able to get their photo made with you at an AEW announce desk,” Thompson noted.

“It’s a nice keepsake,” Ross added. “It’s good, it’s unique, and it’ll be a photo op that a lot of folks have never had before. So I’m excited about that opportunity.”

AEW All In: Texas will be the company’s first-ever stadium show held in the United States. The event, which takes place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, will feature a main event of Jon Moxley defending the AEW World Championship against “Hangman” Adam Page.
