Jim Ross Back In The Hospital With Low Oxygen Days After Second Brain Surgery

Jim Ross is back in the hospital due to low oxygen, less than a week after his second brain surgery.

Ross shared the news on X on Monday night: “Back in the hospital due to low oxygen. Weighed 198. Need a break.” He did not say which hospital he is in or how long he expects to stay.

Ross had surgery on October 7 to address an issue with the shunt that was fitted on August 12 to drain excess fluid from his brain. Before the procedure, he said on Grilling JR that his surgeon had turned the shunt off after a CT scan found bleeding that was causing his headaches. His co-host Conrad Thompson said afterward that the procedure went well and that Ross was in recovery.

In September, Ross said he had lost more than 50 pounds and had nurses at home twice a week. Earlier this month, he said doctors were testing a spot on his kidney.

Ross, 74, has also been treated for colon cancer and skin cancer in recent years. His last AEW broadcast was Double or Nothing in May.

We wish Jim Ross a full recovery.
