Jim Ross has confirmed that he will be in attendance when AEW Dynamite comes to Tulsa, Oklahoma, on January 7. The legendary commentator also provided an update on his health following a recent appearance at WrestleCade in Winston-Salem.
Returning To Tulsa For Dynamite
Ross, an Oklahoma native, assured fans that he plans to be at the BOK Center for the first Dynamite of 2026. He encouraged fans to attend, promising a special evening of wrestling. Ross has primarily been used to call select matches at pay-per-view events in recent years.
“I’ll be there. I’ll be in Tulsa,” Ross confirmed. “Come join us. It’ll be a hell of a show, just out of old times’ sake and tradition and all that good stuff. It’ll be a night you don’t want to miss. It’ll be a special night.”
Health Update After WrestleCade
Ross recently traveled to Winston-Salem for WrestleCade, marking a return to the road after some health challenges over the last few months. He noted he’s feeling excellent after the trip.
“Man, I’m great. Couldn’t feel could be better. Feel great,” Ross said. regarding the event, he added, “It’s a hell of an event… I’m really glad I went.”
AEW’s Momentum Heading Into 2026
The Tulsa show will follow AEW’s World’s End pay-per-view, setting the stage for the new year. Ross shared confidence in Tony Khan’s ability to deliver a strong card for the Oklahoma crowd.
“I’m sure that Tony Khan will put together a hell of a show,” Ross said. “No doubt about it.”
