Jon Moxley details creative process in AEW

Jon Moxley did a recent interview with Bleacher Report where he discussed a wide range of topics.

During the interview, he spoke about the creative process and the freedom that comes with working with AEW President Tony Khan, who oversees all creative in the promotion.

It’s been said by various wrestlers over the years that most wrestlers don’t have full creative freedom in WWE as Vince McMahon is known to be very controlling with what is presented on his television shows.

"I'll talk on the phone with Tony Khan and we'll throw some ideas out. I'll talk to whoever I'm working with and we'll throw some ideas out. We'll get on a three-way call and just loosely talk out the next six weeks of a story, and when I show up, we do it. It doesn't get changed on the day of and nobody messes with it, not that I am above taking creative direction.”

Moxley continued by noting that even the ideas that miss are fun because you're in control because it's part of a journey. He said that when you try again then it's even more satisfying when you get it right. He added that he wants to keep pushing himself to be the best he can every single time.
