AEW star Jon Moxley made a surprise appearance at Northeast Wrestling’s Wrestlefest 26 event on Saturday night.
Moxley walked out for the opening match to the surprise of the fans in Poughkeepsie, New York. Moxley has appeared for the promotion in the past.
Moxley returned this week on AEW Dynamite for an in-ring segment at the start of the show. He returned to the ring last night on a live episode of AEW Rampage and he defeated Ethan Page. After the match, he had a brief encounter with Bryan Danielson. Moxley is scheduled to defend the GCW World Championship tomorrow night against Homicide at The WRLD on GCW on pay-per-view.
Wrestlefest will be headlined by former Wyatt Family members Adam Scherr (Braun Strowman) and Erick Redbeard (Erick Rowan) taking on Bully Ray and NZO (formerly Enzo Amore).
