AEW has reprimanded Jon Moxley for his actions on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite in Pittsburgh, PA at the Petersen Events Center on TNT.
Moxley went to a time limit draw with PAC. After the contest, Moxley got in the face of referee Paul Turner and hit him with a double arm DDT then yelled at him.
On Thursday evening, AEW has announced that since this wasn’t the first time that Moxley went after a referee, he’s been warned by management. As a result, if another attack on a referee, then he will be given a fine and/or suspension.
“#AEW officials have reprimanded Jon Moxley for an unprovoked attack on referee Paul Turner, as this is not the first time Moxley has attacked the Senior Official. Moxley has been warned that another violation of AEW’s sportsmanship policy could result in a fine and/or suspension.”
Moxley is slated to take on Kenny Omega at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view event on November 9 in Baltimore, Maryland.
