Jon Moxley To Wrestle Absent AEW Star At NJPW Sakura Genesis

Jon Moxley is slated to make his return to New Japan Pro Wrestling.

The promotion recently announced the card for its NJPW Sakura Genesis on April 6th, which will be headlined by Tetsuya Naito defending the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against the 2024 New Japan Cup tournament.

The co-main event will see EVIL defend the NEVER Openweight Title against Shingo Takagi. Finally, Moxley will team with Shota Umino to take on HOUSE OF TORTURE (Jack Perry & Ren Narita).

Perry has been absent from AEW since All In because of the CM Punk incident, which AEW President Tony Khan is still upset about. Here is the rest of the card for the show:
