AEW Collision: Winter is Coming kicked off with a hard-hitting qualifying match for the International Women’s Cup Tournament at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty 2025.
Willow Nightingale and Jamie Hayter battled it out in a back-and-forth contest. In the end, it was Nightingale who emerged victorious, securing her spot as the AEW representative in the prestigious tournament. The International Women’s Cup will feature top female competitors from AEW, ROH, CMLL, and STARDOM, with Persephone (CMLL) and Athena (ROH) already confirmed. The STARDOM representative will be determined in a special two-night tournament on December 21st and 22nd.
But the real shocker of the night came after the match. As the dust settled, the arena went dark. When the lights came back on, Julia Hart stood in the ring, launching a vicious attack on Jamie Hayter. Hart’s return had been teased in recent weeks through a series of cryptic backstage promos, but her sudden and brutal assault sent shockwaves through the AEW women’s division.
Hart, a member of the House of Black, made a statement with her surprise appearance. Her attack on Hayter not only signifies her return to active competition but also sets the stage for a potential rivalry between the two talented wrestlers.
