“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry suffered a disappointing loss tonight to Sanada in a match for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
It was a decisivie win and Perry was clearly unhappy about it as he hasn’t been able to get back on track since losing the Four-Way at Double or Nothing. HOOK looked on from the ringside and helped Perry up the ramp.
However, just before they got to the backstage area, Perry nailed HOOK with a clothesline and essentially turned heel. The heel turn had been rumored for weeks and now it looks like it will be Perry as a heel challenging for HOOK’s FTW Title.
Before Perry left, he held up the belt in his hands and mockingly did some of his babyface poses. Taz, who was on commentary, was in disbelief over what had just occurred. Click here for full results from Forbidden Door.
