It looks like WWE has missed out on signing a notable talent in Kamille, who could become All Elite as the promotion looks to continue to revamp its women’s division.
Kamille, who had been a regular in the NWA since October 2018, had been expected to join WWE and work in NXT. She was backstage at the January 18th Dynamite event where she was visiting, raising questions about whether she could be AEW-bound instead.
Pwinsider reports the former NWA Women’s Champion is no longer expected to be WWE-bound. One source in WWE stated in the past that she had been offered an NXT deal.
However, per reports, discussions are not moving forward. Instead, she has been in “deep discussions” with AEW, where it has been seen as a stronger destination for her.
By going to AEW, it would also let her pursue her big goal of acting.
