The Double Or Nothing ticket announcement party was held today (Thursday, February 7th) from the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada by AEW (All Elite Wrestling).
Since the promotion has been announced, there have been some rumors making the rounds including potential talent signings as well as other television deals.
At this party, it was revealed that former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega had signed with the promotion. His contract with NJPW (New Japan Pro Wrestling) expired last month and was set to be a free agent. He will also serve as an Executive Vice President.
Talents confirmed to be under contract thus far include Cody, Brandi Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Chris Jericho, PAC (formerly known as Neville in WWE), Britt Baker, MJF, Joey Janela, Penelope Ford, Frankie Kazarian, Christopher Daniels, Scorpio Sky, Sonny Kiss, Sammy Guevara, Trent Barreta, Chuck Taylor, Pentagon Jr., Fenix, Aja Kong, Yuka Sakazaki, Kylie Ray, Nyla Rose, and Jimmy Havoc.
The AEW Double or Nothing event is set to take place May 25th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. This will mark the first official event under the AEW banner.
