On the latest “Kliq This” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash talked about reports of AEW making their booking decisions later so there are no leaks on what is going to happen on the show:
“I don’t understand that. I read into it and people were saying, like, ‘Yeah, but like, you gave us three days to know this match was gonna happen.’ You and I can say we’re going to have a match on July 7th. If you and I don’t know what the finish is, we don’t have anything to give. So it’s really simple. I’m gonna tell you guys how you do this. You tell two or three people the wrong information and if it fu**ing gets out, you know who the rat is? Fu**ing that’s like booking 101. Set people down and tell them, ‘Hey, don’t let this get out, but this is what we’re doing’, and if it gets out and you only tell three people, guess what? Wallah.”
Nash went on to say, “If you’re a fu**ing professional wrestler and fu**ing somebody goes down and they look at you and they go, ‘Hey, man, can you get your gear on? We’ll put a match in between you. See if you guys can put something together.’ You better be able to fu**ing go. Day of is weird now because there’s only so many hours that everybody can get in the ring because there’s only one ring at TV and go over their entire match 33 fu**ing times with the guy they’re working with. Jesus. Work and learn to work without a f**king net.”
