Kris Statlander Wins AEW World Championship At All Out

A new AEW Women’s World Champion was crowned tonight at the All Out pay-per-view, as Kris Statlander won a four-way match to capture the title for the first time. Statlander pinned the defending champion, “Timeless” Toni Storm, to win the bout, which also included former champion Jamie Hayter and Thekla.

The match concluded after Thekla executed a spear on Hayter, taking both competitors to the floor outside the ring. This left Statlander and Storm alone inside the ring. After a brief struggle, Statlander managed to hook Storm into a pinning combination and secured the three-count for the victory.

Early in the contest, Wheeler Yuta made an appearance at ringside, approaching the apron to say something to Statlander, who appeared annoyed by his presence. Referee Aubrey Edwards instructed Yuta to leave the ringside area, and he complied. This interaction is part of an ongoing storyline where Yuta has been attempting to recruit Statlander.

Following the pinfall, both Statlander and the now-former champion Toni Storm were shown reacting with expressions of shock at the outcome. As pyro went off in the Scotiabank Arena, Harley Cameron ran from the back to the ring to celebrate with the new champion. Storm watched from the entrance ramp and pointed at Statlander, who pointed back before holding the AEW Women’s World Championship belt high.

This championship victory marks the pinnacle of a long journey in All Elite Wrestling for Kris Statlander. As one of the earliest members of the AEW women’s division, she first became known for her “Galaxy’s Greatest Alien” persona. Over the years, her character has evolved into a more grounded and intense competitor.

Statlander’s path to the world title has also been marked by significant adversity. She has overcome two separate, serious ACL injuries, each requiring surgery and forcing her to miss nearly a year of in-ring competition. After returning from her most recent injury, she captured the TBS Championship, and this world title win now solidifies her comeback and her status at the top of the division.
