Latest on AEW Dynamite taping schedule

Thursday’s episode of AEW Dynamite marked the first time in months that the company allowed fans to attend its TV event. They offered around 500 tickets, which sold out in four minutes.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that AEW is still going forward with the idea to tape episodes of Dynamite and Dark every other week, but there is a slight change with taping dates for next month.

AEW will keep everyone in town from September 2nd – September 9th. They air the September 2nd episode live on TNT before doing the All Out pay-per-view event on September 5th and holding TV tapings on September 9th.

Per the report, the feeling is if they have everyone in town already they can keep them for the week and they didn’t want to tape the post-All Out before the event actually took place. It was noted that the September 9th taping will be for shows on 9/9, 9/16 and 9/17 plus Dark for those days as well.

The taping schedule for episodes after September 17th remains to be unknown, but they’ll likely go back to every other week plan.

All shows will be held from Jacksonville, Florida at Daily’s Place. AEW will be selling tickets for next week’s show and All Out to a limited number of fans as long as everyone stays within COVID-19 safety guidelines.
