Latest on AEW Full Gear ticket sales

AEW put tickets on sale for the Full Gear pay-per-view event on Friday.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, AEW only put 925 tickets on sale for this show even though the venue can seat 5,500 fans. All guests are required to wear masks at all times and are seated in pods.

Dave Meltzer on today’s episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that as of Saturday evening, there were still 84 tickets available. There are a few factors that Meltzer speculated to be the cause for the show to not sell out.

Before the pandemic, when AEW put tickets on sale for pay-per-view events they would sell out within minutes or hours. AEW has been running Daily’s Place every week for the past few months.

Slow ticket sales could be due to local fans being burnt out or the restrictions in place because of the pandemic. Tickets started at $40, which is $10 cheaper than the $50 price tag for the All Out show in September.

The AEW Full Gear pay-per-view event will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at Daily’s Place from Jacksonville, Florida. You can see the betting odds for some of the top matches here.
