Luke Gallows details doing COVID-19 testing for BTE segment with The Young Bucks

The latest episode of Being The Elite featured Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson in a flashback moment from 2016.

The segment saw Gallows and Anderson talking with The Young Bucks about their Bullet Club days. Matt and Nick Jackson then brought up how they will start their own wrestling company one day.

It turns out that this segment was recently filmed and made to look like a flashback moment.

Gallows opened up in an interview with Bill Pritchard of WrestleZone about filming the segment in addition to how the world has changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They had to get tested for the virus before shooting the sketch.

“In talking about protocols, it’s the masks, the social distancing, the temperature checks. It’s where it used to be thirty of us sitting around and shooting the shit and hanging out together, you can’t do that anymore,” Gallows said. “You have to social distance, even putting gloves on to get your catering food or whatever it may be, everybody’s being careful.

“We went to AEW to shoot the BTE gimmick with the [Young Bucks] in the hotel for their show and we actually had the finger prick and had the COVID test there, and it’s the same stuff.”

Gallows talked about how they filmed the Talk ’N Shop A-Mania, a spoof pay-per-view event that airs on August 1st, at his house in Georgia. He recalled how his wife is an ER nurse and they did COVID-19.

It was a reasonable decision to make and was no problem due to the financial situation that they’re in. They had everyone that worked the event get checked for the virus at the end of his driveway.

Gallows also talked about being let go by WWE, Talk ‘N Shop A Mania, and more. Check out the full interview here.
