Former WWE star Aleister Black made his debut on AEW Dynamite under his new name, Malakai Black.
Arn Anderson was in the ring for an interview with Tony Schiavone but he wasn’t able to say much because the lights went out for about 30 seconds.
When the lights were turned back on, Black was in the ring and he hit Anderson with the Black Mass. Cody Rhodes ran out to the ring and Black hit him with the Black Mass as well.
Black’s name has been rumored for AEW for weeks. His real-life wife, Thea Trinidad (Zelina Vega), returned to WWE Friday Night SmackDown last week.
