Darius Martin is on the sidelines again with an injury as the Top Flight member recently sustained a leg injury.
As previously reported, Martin is expected to miss a lengthy period in the ring. He had recently returned from a torn ACL that left him out of action for over a year.
At the end of an interview with The Universal Wrestling Podcast, Malakai Black confirmed that Martin suffered the injury in a bad car accident.
“There are so many of these young kids even like Max Caster, who I think is great. Both…even though I wrestled Dante Martin and his brother [Darius], even though unfortunately he’s [Darius] currently…I wish him a speedy recovery because he had a really nasty car accident. He’s out for like another 6-9 months.”
After breaking into the business in 2016, Top Flight signed with All Elite Wrestling in November 2020. Darius’ most recent bout was on April 15th where Frankie Kazarian, The Hardys & Top Flight defeated Angelico, Max Caster, Private Party & The Blade during an episode of AEW Dark
We wish Darius a speedy recovery.
