On today’s Busted Open Radio, Mark Henry reacted to Bully Ray’s comments about Jon Moxley. On Thursday, Bully Ray said that he felt that Moxley should have given an apology to the fans at AEW Dynamite on Wednesday.
Dave Lagreca said that Moxley is “the guy” in AEW and he may be the “face of the place.” Lagreca also said that he was happy to see Moxley looking so healthy.
Henry said, “Jon Moxley, did you see how good he looked? He looked like a million bucks and that is the byproduct of no stress, being healthier, cleaner physically but emotionally healthy. Having someone at home that says, ‘you know what? We love you, you’re forgiven, we just want you to stay here and be happy and healthy.'”
Henry then addressed what Bully Ray said about Moxley. “He didn’t owe anybody an apology,” Henry said. “I think the apology was to his wife and baby and immediate family about not being his best self. It’s their job to help him be his best self and I support him 100 percent. I thought that it was awesome that he addressed the crowd and there were no apologies given because there were no apologies needed.”
Lagreca agreed with Henry and said that everyone is supportive of Moxley, including the fans.
Henry continued, “I saw that Bully was trending because he thought that Moxley owed an apology. To that, I have to say that I have to 100 percent disagree. It was a personal issue and he handled that situation at home. He talked to his boss and he came back and with no apologies and reconfirmed to everybody at AEW that he’s gonna be a better version of himself. That’s what it’s all about.”
Henry went on to say that he thinks that Moxley knows who he is now more than ever.
