Matt Hardy on Elite Deletion Match: I’m confident it will be remembered for eternity

Matt Hardy and Sammy Guevara are set to run it back at the final AEW pay-per-view of the year.

Their last match took place at the All Out pay-per-view event in September, which ended in scary fashion. The two stars jumped off a raised scissor lift through tables. However, Matt missed the tables to the point where the back of his head bounced off the concrete. 

At first, the match was called off only to be restarted moments later with Sammy taking a bump off part of the stage structure. It was later revealed that Hardy had been sent to a hospital to be checked out as he had a concussion.

Now, they’ll wrestle again, but this time in an Elite Deletion Match at Saturday’s Full Gear show.

Hardy took to Instagram to hype the bout by writing the following:
