Mercedes Mone’s Historic Run

This marks Mone’s return to the promotion. She previously made her HOG debut on March 15, 2025, at “City of Dreamz,” where she defeated Indi Hartwell. Since then, Mone has been on a historic run. On October 17, she reached 509 days as TBS Champion, breaking Jade Cargill’s record for the longest reign with the title.

At WrestleDream on October 18, she defeated Mina Shirakawa in a Winner Takes All match to retain her TBS Championship and win the Interim ROH Women’s World Television Championship. This victory gave Mone her eleventh concurrent championship, breaking the nearly 30-year record previously held by Último Dragón for most titles held simultaneously. She has since adopted the nickname “Último Moné.”

HOG Superclash Card

The HOG “Superclash” event will take place at the Suffolk Credit Union Arena in Brentwood, NY, and is a collaboration with The Big Event EXS. Other notable matches and appearances announced for the show include a “first time ever” match between Shayna Baszler and Maki Itoh. This marks Baszler’s promotional debut.

Andrade will also be making his HOG debut. The show will also feature the returns of Killer Kross and Nic Nemeth, an appearance by Amazing Red, and Scarlett Bordeaux’s HOG in-ring debut against Priscilla Kelly and Allie Katch.

Mone’s next match for AEW is in a few weeks, as she is scheduled to face AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander at the Full Gear event.
