Mercedes Mone Declares Herself The ‘Best To Ever Do It’

Mercedes Mone has added yet another championship to her collection, capping off a historic weekend by declaring herself the “best to ever do it.” On October 19th, Mone traveled to Canada for a Winnipeg Pro Wrestling event, where she defeated Jody Threat to capture the WPW Women’s Championship. This victory marked the 12th concurrent title for Mone, who holds championships from promotions around the world, including the AEW TBS Championship and the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship.

‘Best to Ever Do It’

Following her victory in Canada, Mone took to her Instagram account to make a bold declaration. In a new post, Mercedes declares herself to be the ‘best to ever do it’ as she now holds twelve championships.

The win in Canada was Mone’s second championship victory in as many days. The night before, at AEW’s WrestleDream pay-per-view, Mone defeated Mina Shirakawa in a winner-take-all match. With that victory, Mone retained her TBS Championship and captured the Interim ROH Women’s World Television Championship, which at the time was her 11th title, officially breaking the long-standing record of 10 concurrent championships held by Ultimo Dragon. Next Stop: Full Gear

Mone’s celebration at WrestleDream was cut short by AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander, leading to a brawl between the two. After the event, Mone issued a formal challenge to Statlander for a title match at the upcoming AEW Full Gear pay-per-view. This will be Mone’s latest attempt to capture the one major AEW title that has eluded her.

The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The match between Mone and Kris Statlander for the AEW Women’s World Championship has not been officially added to the card.
