Mercedes Mone Files For “Ultimo Moné” Trademark

AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone is capitalizing on her historic and impressive collection of championship gold, as her company, Soulnado, Inc., has filed a new trademark for the term “Ultimo Moné.” The name is a clear and clever play on the legendary luchador Ultimo Dragon, who famously held ten championships simultaneously in the mid-1990s. Mone recently captured her tenth title, and the new trademark indicates she plans to make this achievement a central part of her brand.

The trademark application, which was filed on Tuesday by an attorney representing Soulnado, Inc., covers a wide range of goods and services, indicating that Mone has big plans for the “Ultimo Moné” brand. The filing includes apparel such as shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and bandanas, as well as a comprehensive list of entertainment services related to professional wrestling, including live performances, televised appearances, and online content. This is the latest in a series of trademarks filed by Mone’s company, which also owns the rights to “Mercedes Mone,” “Mone Talks,” “Time is Mone,” “First Class,” “Mone Wear,” and “Statement Maker.”

In addition to her record-breaking reign as the AEW TBS Champion, she also currently holds the CMLL World Women’s Championship, the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship, and a host of other titles from promotions across Europe and the independent circuit. She claimed her tenth title last Saturday at an independent show in Denmark, where she defeated Aliss Ink to win the BODYSLAM Women’s Championship.

With the “Ultimo Moné” trademark now in her possession, fans can expect to see a new line of merchandise and a new branding push for “The CEO.”
