Mina Shirakawa has announced her departure from STARDOM. She will depart on March 31st.
Shirakawa announced the news during a press conference on March 26. She also revealed she is headed to AEW. It’s unclear when she will start, but she has worked several matches for AEW over the last year. Fightful Select first reported she was AEW-bound.
Shirakawa’s time in STARDOM, which began in 2020, was marked by considerable success, including capturing the Wonder of Stardom and Goddesses of Stardom Championships. Her transition to AEW has already seen her involved in notable storylines, such as the Toni Storm-Mariah May program. She has also challenged for the AEW Women’s World Championship.
The translation of the post noted, “I, Shirakawa Mina, will be joining AEW. This marks the start of my challenge to compete on the world stage, which has been my goal since my debut.”
