Miro has given his take about the possibility of Brock Lesnar jumping ship to AEW now that he’s no longer under contract with WWE.
Of course, the former WWE star, who departed from the company earlier this year, made his promotional debut with AEW two months ago. While doing an interview with Inside The Ropes, Miro was asked about “The Beast.”
Lesnar’s WWE deal expired in August and there’s been speculation about his future. The belief is that Lesnar will be back in WWE when they’re able to hold big shows with fans in attendance. However, Lesnar is known to be a smart businessman and could use AEW as leverage.
While Miro thinks AEW could benefit from having Lesnar under contract, he doesn’t think they need him.
“I mean, Brock is great,” Miro said. “Brock, whatever he does, he’s an entity, right? He’s the show himself; he can be his own show himself. Would we benefit from it? I absolutely think we would. Do we need him? Absolutely not.”
Miro also talked about joining AEW, his run in WWE, Chris Jericho, and more. Check out the full interview here.
