MJF Cashes In Title Shot; AEW World Championship Match At Worlds End Now A Four-Way

The main event for AEW Worlds End has been officially altered following a contract signing segment on tonight’s episode of Dynamite. MJF made a surprise appearance to cash in his guaranteed title opportunity, transforming the scheduled Triple Threat match into a Four-Way contest for the AEW World Championship.

The match will now feature reigning champion Samoa Joe defending against “Hangman” Adam Page, Swerve Strickland, and MJF.

Tony Schiavone hosted the initial signing, which featured Joe, Page, and Strickland. Samoa Joe, accompanied by HOOK and Powerhouse Hobbs, stated that his associates were present solely for security due to the volatility of his opponents. Joe signed the contract immediately, refusing to waste time.

Swerve Strickland, accompanied by Prince Nana, addressed the champion, recalling their history in TNA and his previous victory over Joe. Strickland declared his intention to regain the title, signing the document after stating, “You can’t kill a God with bullets.”

Adam Page focused his verbal remarks on Joe’s new alliance with Hobbs and HOOK. Page criticized the champion for aligning with the faction after failing at WrestleDream, claiming Joe had lost his dignity. Page asserted that while the outcome of Worlds End was uncertain, he was confident Joe would not leave as champion.

Following Page’s signature, the arena lights went out, signaling MJF’s entrance. He was met by Mark Sterling, who presented a contract for MJF to sign, officially cashing in his guaranteed shot at the World Title.

MJF addressed the competitors, explaining his recent absence was due to filming a movie. He stated that despite his history of taking shortcuts, he wanted to defeat Page and his biggest rivals simultaneously to eliminate any excuses.

During his address, MJF directed specific comments toward his opponents:

  • To Samoa Joe: MJF mocked the champion’s hairline and vowed to end his title reign.
  • To Swerve Strickland: MJF compared Strickland to Sean “Diddy” Combs and mocked his “Whose House?” catchphrase. He also referenced their shared history on the independent circuit and Strickland’s tenure in WWE, specifically mentioning Top Dolla. MJF contrasted their previous title runs, noting that his reign lasted 406 days compared to Strickland’s 126 days.

MJF concluded the segment by declaring that “rent is due” and vowing to reclaim the “Triple B” (Big Burberry Belt).
