Major League Wrestling’s “Summer of the Beasts” event featured a shocking appearance from top AEW star MJF, who made his return to an MLW ring for the first time since 2020.
During the event, CMLL star Místico was in the ring addressing the crowd when masked members of the CONTRA Unit ambushed him. After Místico fought them off, another masked individual attacked him from behind, revealing himself to be MJF.
The former AEW World Champion beat down Místico and declared that they will wrestle again, vowing to embarrass Místico, CMLL, and the country of Mexico. This attack reignites a rivalry that began at AEW’s Grand Slam Mexico, where Místico defeated MJF by disqualification.
Before signing with AEW, MJF was a top star in MLW, where he was a member of ‘The Dynasty’ faction and held both the World Middleweight and World Tag Team Championships.
