AEW World Champion MJF did not take kindly to a fan comparing him to former WWE star Alberto Del Rio.
Another fan replied under the first fan tweet and said, “Except MJF isn’t a racist lol.” MJF responded, “Except I’m not a racist. An abuser. A bad promo. A poser. A bitch. And a drug addict. And an over rated wrestler.”
The ‘racist’ remark doesn’t seem to be directed at Alberto but the issues between Alberto and former girlfriend Saraya have been well documented. Alberto was also accused of aggravated kidnapping/sexual assault by another woman who he was with at the time. Those charges were dropped because the witness was missing.
In May of 2020, Police said that Alberto tied the woman’s hands with boxing straps and then put a sock in her mouth as he sexually assaulted her for several hours with various objects. The investigators also say that he punched her in the back and the victim does not remember much after he put his hands around her throat
PWInsider reported on 12/10/21: “The court records reflect that earlier today, there was a missing witness and that the charges have dropped. Del Rio’s bond has also been returned. The case is officially closed and he is free and clear going forward from all criminal liabilities in regard to this case.”
