MJF Praises Tony Khan: “This Is The Most Professional He’s Ever Been Online”

AEW star MJF has taken notice of a recent change in the online behavior of his boss, AEW President Tony Khan. In a new interview, MJF praised Khan for his current professionalism and credited him for the “insane amount of momentum” the company has.

MJF Praises Tony Khan’s Newfound Professionalism

While speaking with Adrian Hernandez of Unlikely, MJF was asked about WWE’s counterprogramming and Tony Khan’s view on it. MJF noted that Khan’s approach has changed for the better.

“This is the most professional he’s ever been online. He’s only talking about our company. He’s not throwing potshots,” MJF said. “That’s because, the truth is, he really is only focused on our shit. Fully. I will give him credit for that… As much as I hate his guts, you have to give him credit for that.”

‘Soak It All In While You Can’

MJF also touted the major successes of AEW, including their recent All In: Texas event at Globe Life Field. He then addressed the “tribalism” between AEW and WWE fans, saying he thinks it’s “dumb” and that fans should “just enjoy professional wrestling.” He ended with a message about his own unique place in the business.

“Most importantly, enjoy me because I’m a generational talent and I’m here for a good time, not necessarily a long time. Soak it all in while you can,” he said.

At the All In: Texas pay-per-view on July 12, MJF won the Casino Gauntlet match, earning him a guaranteed shot at the AEW World Championship at a time and place of his choosing. He is also featured in the new film Happy Gilmore 2, which premieres on Netflix this Friday.
