MJF Reportedly Pushed For New AEW Feud

The newly ignited feud between MJF and Mark Briscoe is one that the former AEW World Champion has been personally pushing for behind the scenes, according to a report from Fightful Select. The rivalry kicked off on the June 25 episode of AEW Dynamite when MJF and his faction, The Hurt Syndicate, attacked JetSpeed.

Briscoe interrupted the post-match beatdown, leading to a fiery promo exchange. MJF took personal shots, telling Briscoe that fans only love him because “they all grew up dirt ugly and dirt poor,” before calling him a “blue collar b**h.”

Briscoe fired back with a pointed jab of his own, telling MJF, “If I was MJF going 30 years with a teeny, tiny, kosher pickle in his pants, I’d hang out with those guys too.”

The “kosher pickle” line prompted huge chants from the crowd as MVP led his crew away. According to the report, this program was considered “very important” to MJF, indicating that the personal nature of the feud is something he specifically wanted to explore on-screen.
