MVP: “The Clock Is Ticking On My In Ring Career. I Don’t Have Much Time Left”

The end of MVP’s career in the ring is in sight, something he publicly acknowledged on social media. MVP made his AEW in-ring debut during this week’s Dynamite: Maximum Carnage by working a trios bout alongside Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley to go over Mark Briscoe and Private Party.

This marked his first TV bout since July 2022. He worked a Bloodsport match for GCW against Josh Barnette in 2024. Since making his AEW debut, MVP has mostly been working as the manager of Shelton and Bobby.

MVP took to his Instagram account to note that he didn’t have much time left as an in-ring performer. He also shared a clip of the Dynamite match.

MVP wrote, “Vintage MVP!!!! 2025 and I’m still BALLIN!!! The clock is ticking on my in ring career. I don’t have much time left. But I promise to give you everything I’ve got until I finally reach the final match. 🫡”
