New AEW-WBD TV Deal To Be Announced Next Wednesday

There is some big news expected to be announced next Wednesday at the TV upfronts in New York City.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that the new TV deal and the announcement about the new Saturday night show (rumored to be called AEW Collision) will be announced at The Theater at Madison Square Garden.

There is no word on how much money AEW will be getting on the new deal. Mat Men’s Andrew Zarian previously reported that the new deal will keep all AEW programming exclusive to WBD but Ring Of Honor is not included. ROH shows air on the HonorClub subscription service.

The WBD deal could potentially include streaming and there’s been speculation that AEW programming/specials could air on the former HBO Max service that is being rebranded as Max.
