The AEW Full Gear pay-per-view event was set for November 6th from the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri.
However, the promotion moved the date for the event back one week to November 13th. This was done due to the strong competition on November 6th.
UFC 268 goes down on November 6th at the Madison Square Garden, which will feature the rematch between Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman vs. Colby Covington. Also, Canelo Alvarez vs. Caleb Plant from the MGM Grand Garden Arena will take place on this date. Both events will air on pay-per-view.
Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that while he still doesn’t know the location of Full Gear as “the last word was the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis was booked that weekend but rumors have the new location at an arena in the Minneapolis-St. Paul market.”
It was added that AEW didn’t confirm nor deny the location. All Elite Wrestling will still face competition on this new date as they will go up against college football and the UFC has a Fight Night show with Max Holloway vs. Yair Rodriguez in the main event.
Also, Jon Moxley will likely be pulled from the NJPW Battle of the Valley show on November 6th despite him being scheduled to work the main event.
AEW has yet to announce the location for the November 10th edition of Dynamite, which will be the go-home show for Full Gear.
