A new trailer for “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” series on Disney+, which features Adam Copeland. It’s based on the novel series of the same name by Rick Riordan.
The AEW star will portray Ares, the god of War, in a recurring guest star role. This is his latest project in Hollywood, as he has previously starred in shows such as “Vikings,” “Haven,” and “The Flash” and films like “Money Plane” and “Interrogation.”
Copeland’s character is described as “handsome in a wicked way and arrogant, despite not always being the sharpest tool in the shed. He loves conflict and acts as an agent of chaos wherever he goes.”
Walker Scobell stars as Percy Jackson. Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri have also been cast in the series.
Quaker Moving Pictures, Co-Lab21, James Bobin, Inc., Moorish Dignity Productions, The Gotham Group, 20th Television, and Disney Branded Television produce the series. It is scheduled to premiere on December 20, 2023, with the first season having eight episodes.
