New AEW World Tag Team Champions were crowned tonight on Dynamite in El Paso, Texas.
The Gunns challenged The Acclaimed for the belts in the main event. Late in the match, the referee took a bump and The Gunns tried to use the belt as a weapon but Billy Gunn ran in to stop them. The Gunns took out their father and moments later, a gun to Anthony Bowens was enough for Austin to get the pin.
This is the first time that The Gunns have held titles. Aside from the underhanded tactics, the main story here seems to be that The Gunns were able to win gold without the help of their father. After the match, the fans chanted “bullsh*t” as The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn stood in the ring.
