Orange Cassidy: My Former Friend Who Punched Me In The Face And Stabbed Me In The Back, Kris Statlander. I Think She’s A Phenomenal Professional Wrestler

AEW talent have been doing the media rounds in New York City to promote this Wednesday’s AEW Grand Slam at Arthur Ashe Stadium. Orange Cassidy appeared on Barstool Rasslin’ to promote the show.

Orange Cassidy talking about Will Ospreay as well as the AEW Women’s Division:

“I believe that Will Ospreay might be, probably is the best professional wrestler in the world today. I also think AEW right now probably has the best women’s division ever assembled. I also feel like you can’t say Bryan Danielson because that’s like, yea, we know. He shouldn’t be put in that because we all know he is and he’s holding the championship.”

The host asked, “So this is the non-Bryan Danielson edition?” Cassidy said, “Yes.”

Cassidy again talking about Ospreay: “It doesn’t matter who he is in the ring with, it doesn’t matter what the situation is, he does a phenomenal job of getting the people going and that’s what you want.”

On the women’s division, Cassidy said, “Jamie Hater just came back. We all know how great Jamie Hater is. We have Mercedes here, the CEO doing that dance, the dance we all try to do, but we can’t do it as good as her. You also have my former friend who punched me in the face and stabbed me in the back, Kris Statlander. I think she’s a phenomenal professional wrestler. Willow. Anna Jay just went to Stardom. Already from the stuff I’ve seen, she’s going to come back stronger than ever. Mariah. Toni. We have more people coming back that have been away.”
