Former WWE superstar Dakota Kai is officially set to return to in-ring competition. It has been announced that Kai, now performing under the name “Charlie,” will challenge Kris Statlander for the EVE International Championship at Pro Wrestling EVE’s Wrestle Queendom 8.
Bayley Reacts, Ospreay Extends Invite
The news caught the immediate attention of Kai’s longtime friend and former Damage CTRL stablemate, Bayley. Taking to social media, Bayley expressed her excitement with the tweet, “OMG OMGGGG.”
Will Ospreay, who serves as a producer and creative member for Pro Wrestling EVE, saw the interaction and wasted no time extending a personal invitation to the current WWE star. Ospreay publicly offered to treat Bayley to a popular meal if she made the trip across the pond.
“Oi if you ain’t doing nothing on Sunday 8th March, come down and I’ll buy ya a Nandos,” Ospreay wrote on Twitter.
Wrestle Queendom 8 Details
The event, Wrestle Queendom 8, is scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Indigo at The O2 in London. The match between Charlie (Kai) and Statlander is expected to be a marquee attraction for the show. Whether Bayley will be able to accept Ospreay’s offer and attend the event remains to be seen, but the exchange has certainly generated buzz for the upcoming show.
