Andrade El Idolo underwent pectoral surgery last month after he tore his pectoral muscle a few months ago.
The AEW star first announced the news in a post on Instagram. He stated that when the injury happened, he wanted to finish his match because of his love for the wrestling business.
Andrade also included a clip from the 8/17 Dynamite with the Trios match featuring himself, Rush, and Dragon Lee against The Elite, indicating the match that he suffered the injury in.
Andrade has been out of action since September. As seen below, he is already back in the gym while he recovers:

Andrade was sent home by AEW in October after he was involved in a backstage fight with Sammy Guevara. This was after they exchanged words on Twitter, including when Guevara accused Andrade of wanting to return to WWE.
