Planned Date for This Year’s AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam

With AEW coming off its latest pay-per-view event, Forbidden Door, the promotion will be looking forward to not just the historic All In at Wembley Stadium and All Out in Chicago but also future events, including their return to Arthur Ashe Stadium.

AEW held its first stadium show in September 2021 with the Grand Slam special edition of Dynamite in New York City.

The 2021 edition drew 1.273 million viewers and did a 0.48 key demo rating, while last year’s show, stacked with five title matches, drew 1.039 million viewers and a 0.35 rating.

The 2022 event featured Jon Moxley defeating Bryan Danielson to win the vacant AEW World Heavyweight Title in the headliner.

Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast noted on Twitter that September 20th is the date for the event’s third installment. It’s likely AEW will also run Collision at the venue.
