Positive News On Injury Scare In AEW Dynamite Match

Jack Perry suffered an injury during AEW Dynamite Winter is Coming. Tonight on the December 10th episode of Dynamite, fans witnessed Darby Allin’s injury replacement, Perry, battle Kazuchika Okada in the Continental Classic Gold League match. However, mid-way through the match, Perry attempted a suicide dive on Okada, who was present ringside. It has now been reported that Perry hurt himself during the dive.

Bryan Alvarez Reports On Jack Perry’s Status

Shortly after Dynamite, Bryan Alvarez reported that Perry ‘legit’ hurt his ankle performing the dive during his match against Okada. However, Alvarez also reported that Perry worked through it and now looks to be ‘fine’.

Perry was inserted into the tournament as a replacement for Darby Allin, who was forced to withdraw. The match against Okada was critical for the Gold League standings as the tournament continues to heat up.

Following Dynamite, Kazuchika Okada and Kyle Fletcher sit at the top of the Gold League with six points each. Meanwhile, Konosuke Takeshita and Jon Moxley also lead the Blue League with six points each, respectively.
