The AEW Worlds End pay-per-view event from the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida, was a newsworthy show with the returns of Kenny Omega and Adam Copeland.
It was headlined by AEW World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley vs. Orange Cassidy vs. Jay White vs. Hangman Page in a fatal 4-way bout. Moxley was cut from the back of his head and bleeding pretty good.
The finish saw Yuta connect with his finisher to White before Moxley hit the death rider DDT for the win. FTR came out to stop a post-match attack, and they did so with Copeland.
There was some concern about Moxley due to the cut. Dave Meltzer reported in the daily update on F4Wonline.com that “Jon Moxley was said to be ok after the show.”
AEW has confirmed FTR and Copeland will take on Yuta, Moxley, and PAC in a six-man tag tea match on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
