Randy Orton reportedly interested in negotiating with All Elite Wrestling

There’s apparently another major name looking at All Elite Wrestling as an option after he is done with WWE.

On Tuesday, a report from the @WrestleVotes wrestling insider account stated that a major name had a significant offer on the table from All Elite Wrestling.

During the Fightful SmackDown post-show podcast, Sean Ross Sapp said Randy Orton is the name that was being referenced by the @WrestleVotes account but AEW said no offer was made to him because that would be considered contract tampering and they are not looking into getting into a legal fight. This news getting out may have been an agent trying to get word out for negotiating leverage.

The interesting part of this story is that, according to Fightful, Orton has been openly talking about AEW and has said that he would be open to talking with them. Orton is good friends with Cody Rhodes.

Orton may not be able to leave WWE until January 2020 because it was reported back in January 2010 by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that he signed a 10-year deal with the company.
