Reason Why The Young Bucks Arrived Late For AEW Dynasty Return

AEW World Champion Jon Moxley vs. Swerve Strickland took place at the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view event from Philadelphia, PA, at the Liacouras Center in the main event. The Young Bucks returned to help Moxley retain his title.

Nick and Matt Jackson have not appeared on AEW TV since last year. Instead, they took time off and used this time to compete in NJPW.

Dave Meltzer reported in a Wrestling Observer website exclusive that AEW had the Bucks arrive late on purpose. Meltzer wrote, “The Young Bucks didn’t arrive in the building until 10 p.m. They didn’t keep them sequestered or a secret as people saw them, but they came late enough that the idea was that it wouldn’t get out before the show started.”

As of this writing, AEW has not announced The Young Bucks for Wednesday’s Dynamite.
